Poštak
Can a drop be more famous than a waterfall? Can a stone be more famous than a mountain? The first no, but the second yes, at least in the case of Poštak. The stone head of the Martian is far more famous than the peak beneath it. But the head is not alone. There is a whole gallery of boulders.
The ascent begins at the railway station in Otrići. You need to pass under the railway line and just follow the markings towards the top. The trail is well marked and clearly visible so you should have no problem following it. It is completely open, so there is no shelter in windy or sunny weather. Several people have already told me that they were unable to reach the top because of the wind. I probably don't need to explain how to deal with the sun while hiking.
On the way back, I deviated a little from the path towards the nearest wind generator VE Poštak. The wind was quite strong, so I wanted to be under the tower of the power plant when the tip of the blade flew by at a speed of 320 kilometers per hour. Fun! By the way, the power plant has 13 Siemens aggregates with a power of 3.4 MW. The pillars are about 80 meters high, and the blades are about 50 meters long.
