At the beginning of the thirteenth century, the Mother of God appeared in a flower on a tree stump. The shepherds noticed it and, of course, immediately tore off the flower and took it to the chapel in Krasno polje, because why should it grow when they can kill it. But the flower had other plans and returned to the forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of carrying it to the chapel and having it keep coming back, they remembered the old Catholic proverb \"If Muhammad will not come to the hill, the hill will come to Muhammad\" and built a church in the place where they found it. And God saw that it was good, so the Sanctuary of the Mother of God from Krasno still stands there to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you enter the church, look up, because the vault is really interesting and original. Most of the rest of the sanctuary is just an example of classical religious aesthetics. If you need to stock up on holy water, because the devil never sleeps, there is always at least 100 liters in the stainless steel tank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
