"Let's go to Cvituša!" in Lovinac, it is not perceived as an invitation to a short hike, as a naive guest might think, but rather an invitation to a drink. Everyone thinks of Cvituša as a catering facility at the foot of the Cvituša hill, and it's high time we give some love to the hill itself.

Although there is a dirt road leading to the top, it is quite steep and I didn't even try to get up there by car. After all, I think it's fair to go to the hill on foot. Those fifteen minutes will not kill you, but will make you a little stronger. From the top, which is crowned by the chapel of St. Anthony, there is a beautiful view of Velebit, Zir and Lovinac.

As a special experience, I suggest Cvituša all-around. It all starts with climbing Cvituša and watching the sunset. After that, have something to eat, drink and dance at the restaurant and then go to Cvituša again, this time to watch the sunrise. I know a female trio that could pull it off. Cvituša will never forget them!
