Lake Opsenica, better known as Lake Sveti Rok, is nothing special, but still a nice enough lake for a short visit. When the water level is not too low, it is convenient for swimming, especially if you like to do it in the company of frogs.

The lake was recently remodeled in such a way that the eastern side is deeper and looks the way a reservoir should look and is a place where people gather. The western side is left in a somewhat more natural state, so birds gather there. I don't know if there is a need for it, but somehow I always avoid the western part so as not to disturb the birds.

The lake has one unusual feature. Otherwise, if you urinate in the place where you bathe, the water around you becomes murkier and warmer. However, in summer, when the water level is low and the lake is warmed by the sun, when you urinate in it, the water around you becomes cooler and clearer. Isn't that fascinating? My kids never minded it for swimming, and the frogs are just bonus fun.
