Velebit House
House Velebit is a wonderful example of how, with a lot of creativity, the use of modern technologies and various forms of presentation, you can create a place where you can learn a lot while having fun and activating all your senses. I have been here three times already.
Formally, this is a visitor and information center for visitors to the Northern Velebit National Park, and informally, a very cool classroom. The topic is, of course, Velebit and everything that is on it, but the focus is still on what is in its bowels. That's why they highlight the speleo lift as a special feature of the house, but for me the most fun thing is the one in front of the house, a buromat with which you can feel the gusts of wind of 110 kilometers per hour on your own skin.
Right next to the House of Velebit is the Interpretation Center Krasno and you must visit it. You will realize that there is a time gap between these two houses, which are only a few meters apart, and that they are, in fact, in two different centuries.
