I have traveled the Master's Road (Majstorska cesta) several times by car, bicycle, and parts of it on foot, and for me it is, without any doubt, the most beautiful macadam road in Croatia. Given that it is protected as a cultural asset, it will remain so, beautiful and unpaved.

The Wikipedia article states that it is a road with "numerous" serpentines. Not really! The descent towards Obrovac has several serpentines, and the one from Alan to Sveti Rok (section 17 km long) has exactly one serpentine. Considering its length, hard terrain it passes through and the gradient of only about 5.5%, Majstorska cesta has extremely few serpentines, and the reason is that it was masterfully planned.

I assume that it is not necessary to emphasize that the location of the master road on the attached map is only its beginning and there are many kilometers ahead of you.
